The team here at SJ Racing are horse lovers through and through. We enjoy nothing more than the thrill of race horse ownership. The highs, the lows, the wins, the losses. We couldn’t see ourselves doing anything other.
From the moment we buy our horses, our focus is solely on making sure that they are kept in the best possible condition, in the best possible surroundings, allowing them the best possible opportunity to show their abilities for their owners.

Being racehorse owners as well, we fully understand what it takes to make the journey of horse ownership one of the best experiences you can have.
We hear all the time owners complaining about the lack of communication coming from other syndicators and stables. We pride ourselves on being the #1 communicators in the business.
At no time you’ll wonder what your horse is up to as you’re kept up to date weekly on your horse’s progress. It doesn’t matter whether your horse is training, trialing, racing, or spelling.
The management of each racehorse is of utmost importance. To us, each horse is treated like an individual and will be placed in the best possible races to suit it, ensuring the highest possible return for their owners.
We have Trainers at Grafton, Gold Coast, Townsville and Cairns which covers the coast from Port Macquarie to Cairns and all inland tracks that suit our horses. This ensures that we are racing and being competitive, which in turn equates to FUN .
We decided to have our main base at the Grafton Racecourse as it is ideally situated to travel down to Port Macquarie and up to the Sunshine Coast to minimise the running costs for all our owners, and as such there are no inflated charges due to being located in the city.
However when the form of the horse warrants a trip to the city we are centrally based from there to travel to Sydney or Brisbane.
Our goal is to make racing as affordable as possible while maximising the experience of racehorse ownership.
